My Story

Hi, I'm Hendrik, founder and producer at SoulFyah Productions.

I’ve been making music since childhood — starting with piano lessons, then guitar, and later my first bands. In my twenties, I discovered electronic production, did an internship in a pro studio, and began recording, mixing, and producing for others.

For almost 20 years I worked as a surf and windsurf instructor, but the dream of living from music never left me. In 2018, with my partner and our young son, I took the leap, quit my job, and went all in on music. That’s how SoulFyah Productions was born.
Since then, the journey has been unconventional:

Producing from a small home studio when I first started.
Living in a camper-van and making beats on a minimal setup.
Building a recording studio inside a horse trailer.
Today, living partly on a sailboat, anchored near my trailer studio, still making music every day.

This taught me one lesson I share with every artist: you don’t need perfect circumstances — only passion, resilience, and the courage to keep creating.
